I ate almost 16 ounces of ranch dressing with a spoon today and I’ve never hated/loved myself more
Anonymous asked: yeah i totally agree its a book meant for enjoyment and shouldn't be look at too seriously. I had really low expectations for this movie (considering hollywood these days always seems to mess up adaptions) but the trailer was badass. I had no desire to see it now im re-considering. I think it rubbed me the wrong way I feel like its anti-feminist in a sense to let someone control your diet but i could be completely off the board with that thought.
The whole debate about whether you can be a feminist and a sub at the same time has been going on forever, and I believe it’s possible if, again, you set lines. It’s still not for everyone though. And yeah dude that version of crazy in love got me HYPED
Anonymous asked: What are your thoughts on 50 shades? I think people can like that kind of stuff if they want to read it or participate in it but i thought the part about him controlling her diet and other things rubbed me the wrong way.
I understand why you’d feel that way, but in a lot of ways that’s how dom/sub relationships work. The difference is that outside the bedroom he respects her a lot and cares for her deeply. That’s the difference between d/s relationships and abusive relationships. It’s when lines are drawn and he does that.
I’d focus more on being rubbed the wrong way by the fact that the writing is so bad and how funny and cute it is that he blindfolds her like once and spanks her a couple times and people freak out about how hardcore the BDSM is
we need to hate the 50 shades of gray movie as loudly and aggressively as possible on the internet
